Oleksandr Antonyuk
In my works, I try to share my thoughts about what interests me - a person and the world they live in. Not so much external as an inner world. I don't really care about the manner and style of what I do - art critics will be judges of that. I use both traditional and new materials, sometimes combining them. The Bible, unlike fiction, not only asks questions but also provides answers. While in the process of working with biblical stories, peculiar thoughts come to mind. Perhaps this is because the language of the Bible is as figurative as the language of the fine arts.
Was born in 1971 in the city of Kamianets-Podilsky. He graduated in 1998 from the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, the Faculty of Fine Arts. Antonyuk is a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since 1998 he has been participating in Ukrainian and international art events.
