Olexandr Kudriavchenko

was born  in Kyiv.

Education:

Alexander Kudriavchenko was graduated from National Academy of Art and Architecture in Kyiv. There he was studied the monumental painting in studio of academician Storozhenko. Now Alexander is member of National Artist's Union of Ukraine.

Major creative works:

Among his mural paintings are paintings in churches and interiors of private houses in Ukraine.

2012 may - Artists-in-residence program for CeRCCA (Center of Creativity and Research) in Lloren del Peneds, Catalonia. Working out with mural artwork on the wall of local church

2012 may - exhibition of Ukrainian sacral painitings at Cathedral St. Katharina, Willich, Germany

2011 may-july - Solo exhibitionin Barcelona, Spain. Artists-in-residence program for CeRCCA (Center of Creativity and Research)

2011 september - Exhibition in Institutio Cervantez at Moscow.

2010 november - From school to temple, exhibition dedicated to mural art school of academician M. Storozhenko

About artist:

Inspired by traditional Byzantic, Italian and Old-Ukrainian sacred art Alexander tries to find his own language in the world of painting. The images are always clear and bright, full of humanity and symbolism. The work is always full of great attention to the details, to materials and paint technique.
