Profile:

Since my childhood, I’m fond of comics, graphic arts, and photography. These kinds of art battle with each other in my head all my life.

In 2012 I graduated from “Dominic” creative photography school, where I was interested in film photography and alternative photography processes and started experimenting with them.

In Summer 2013 my first expedition camp “Vyriy” awakes my deep interest in sacral art. Surprisingly for myself, after tragic Maidan events in 2014, I started to feel an irresistible desire to paint icons. I learn a lot by myself and take part in various icon-painting plein-air events. In 2015 I visited an icon-painting summer school at Ukrainian Catholic University.

I enjoy to combine sacral art with photography and experimenting with different types of easel graphic works.

Since 2014 I am a member of «Vyriy» non-governmental organization that researches and popularizes a history of Zakerzonnya district. The NGO also recovers Ukrainian cemeteries, which now appeared to be in Poland.

I live and work in Lviv and do photography and illustrate children’s books and magazines.
