Ostap Lozynky. Disquiet. Sketches to landscape

Painting, unlike icons, which at the level of the subconscious is a certain escape from the surrounding reality, search for the absolute, if to be honest, I do quite rarely. It is for me as a means of conversation. Contemplating life, the problems of man, its interaction with the world and the neighbor, with God, provoke me a lot of questions, on which extremely difficult to find some answers is (but is it necessary?) Only when it appears a need for a deeper dialogue, the means of painting help me in this.

Olena Turyanska

People are forced to leave their homes. Different times, different nations, different people, different reasons. History repeats itself. Again, again, again.... Being a refugee is not a choice. These are the circumstances that throw you out of the familiar life cycle. Another reality is to escape and survive. The reality, where the general everyday concepts acquire a universal almost sacred meaning. The landmark in this temporary reality is an icon, a graphic symbol-message. (Olena Turyanska)

Arsen Bereza. Melancholy. Hüzün

In Turkish, there is the word "Hüzün", the meaning of which is close to the concept of all-pervading melancholy, but its meaning is something wider. Vlodko Kaufman. Sorrow. Doubt. Doubtfulness

The artworks presented here are the result of a long dialogue with yourself. The dialogue with questions but without answers. Each of the works was once a text that could be read by a limited circle of people. The relief, which is unclear for us, filled with ideological content.

The exhibition Panopticon. Mariya Plyatsko

In her creative works, Mariya Plyatsko does a research in relationships among people, the ones that are more than words, more than gestures or glances. The relationships are the core concept, the intangible, we may say. We try only to look into that. The creative works united in the Panopticon make us ask, re-consider, and provoke this unsolved assignment, namely, What are they, the relationships among people? Are they what we say? Our mimics? Our emotions? Maybe, they are something deeper, too complicated to find simple solutions?

Interaction. The exhibition by Yaroslava Tkachuk

The interaction is taking place within the space and the time. The world is the universal interaction of all phenomena and the processes. Have you ever considered the interaction within your own mental environment that had been historically formed by the family and the predecessors who had lived, dreamed, created and experienced?
