Hlafira Shcherbak "Ascent"

It is not the matter, visibility and form that nourishes, but the knot that gives the divided world its integrity. Not the words in the book, but the love, the wisdom of God, engraved in words. This exhibition is about the silence of the Lord, thanks to which the soul develops in its heart the ability to love in the ways that trust in God reveals. Unanswered prayer, and love begin where nothing is expected in return; it's a space in which you are free to be and choose all the paths that call to your heart.

Ulyana Tomkevych Sacrificial Love

"Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me." (The Gospel of Mark 8:34) God Himself gives us an example of infinite and saving love. The incarnation and life of Jesus Christ is the symbol of sacrificial love. The central commandment in the New Testament is the love of God. However, implementing this commandment is impossible without the second commandment, without the love of neighbour. Christ calls people in the same way, without waiting for an answer, to love one another. After all, the power of all-conquering sacrificial love saves and leads humans to eternal life. Only a heart full of love is open to sincere sacrifice. He loves people so much that He sends His Son to die for our salvation.

Ostap Lozynsky De Anima

Anima-Soul: We all have it. We all talk about it, think about it, but we don't really know anything… When and where does it appear? Where does it fly, how much does it weigh? In this project, I tried to contemplate these questions. Of course, I do not have the answers, I do not know what the soul looks like, but I sincerely believe that our souls have a purpose, and in our earthly life, we have, despite all interpretations and misreadings, to do everything so that our SOUL can ascend.

Geza Gyorke “Crucifix”

Strength and tenderness, rational and sensual, tragedy and vitality, the magic of the plasticity of colour and existential living of meanings of the being are combined in the series "Crucifix" by Geza Gyorke (born in 1991). A graduate of the Lviv National Academy of Arts (graduated in 2014), a student of I. Shumsky, J. Shimin, A. Maksymenko, L. Medvid, M. Andrushchenko, Geza has developed an original figurative-plastic concept in which the search for form, harmony of colors and textures gives birth to the deep sacred meaning.

Olena Grozovska The Art of Conjecturing

Ars Conjectandi, or The Art of Conjecturing; it was the name of one of the first treatise on the theory of probability written by Jacob Bernoulli in the late 17th century. One can invoke the notion of the art of conjecturing to describe the graphic cycle of works by Olena Grozovska since most of them are created using the author’s technique “cabbage-painting”.

Kateryna Kuziv Kadosh

Kadosh is detached, preordained. Holiness as not something just ascended to the limit, but something that has a purpose. The spiritual state is achieved not in isolation from reality, but on the contrary - immersion, in reality, accepted by God's will.

Oleksandr Antonyuk Seven Seals

And in the right hand of the One sitting upon the throne, I saw a book, written inside and out, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong Angel, proclaiming with a great voice, “Who is worthy to open the book and to break its seals?” And no one was able, neither in heaven, nor on earth, nor under the earth, to open the book, nor to gaze upon it. And I wept greatly because no one was found worthy to open the book, nor to see it.

Serhiy Horobets Personal Jesus

PERSONAL JESUS is an experiment focused on the duality of the eternal vs the shifting moment. Baroque crucifiction sculpture and a Carpathian river are two symbols, each embodying both ends of this duality in their own way. Live kinetics of water and a fixed sacred form of the wooden sculpture are in direct contact; together they become a new fixed form through photographic modality. In turn, drawing takes the stability out of photography by adding another kinetic dimension.
