are always about women for me, encompassing emotions, feelings, and the body. When I think about a woman, I always envision the space and energy surrounding her. To me, a woman is primarily a creator. Each of us, consciously or subconsciously, forges her own unique space. That's why Berehynias, as women, embody the image of something original, something not immediately comprehensible. There are numerous associations, and in the present time, one can associate a woman-guardian with Ukraine, with family. Particularly, I reflect on those who have lost their homes and relatives, and are forced to create a new space in new conditions. I also contemplate women soldiers, those who literally guard and protect us all.
